This agreement is between Carer Escapes and the Ambassador named below.

Role: Carer Ambassador (Volunteer)

Purpose:
To support Carer Escapes retreats and online communities by providing peer support, encouragement, and positive engagement to fellow carers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome and support carers during retreats and in online groups.
• Model positive engagement, self-care, and community values.
• Assist facilitators with retreat activities as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and respect the privacy of all participants.
• Abide by Carer Escapes’ Code of Conduct and Carer Recognition Policy.

Requirements:

• Must have attended at least one Carer Escapes retreat as a participant.
• Commitment to personal growth, inclusion, and respectful communication.
• Willingness to undertake training as required.

Checks and Qualifications (required for all Ambassadors):

• Valid Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• National Police Check (or equivalent)
• Current First Aid Certificate (desirable but not mandatory for all roles)
• Agreement to uphold Carer Escapes’ policies and procedures

Support and Supervision:

• Ambassadors will receive orientation and ongoing support from Carer Escapes staff.
• Regular check-ins and opportunities for feedback will be provided.

Agreement:

I, , agree to perform the role of Carer Ambassador as described above, and to uphold the values and policies of Carer Escapes. I understand that my role is voluntary and that I may cease volunteering at any time, or my role may be ended by Carer Escapes if required.
